Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using QR Product Scanner (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The Service

QR Product Scanner lets you photograph products, receive AI-generated identification and price estimates, generate QR codes, manage inventory, and optionally sync your data to a Google Sheet.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Product identifications, descriptions, and price estimates are produced by AI models and are not guaranteed to be accurate. They are starting points for your own research, not financial or commercial advice. You are solely responsible for verifying any price, description, or attribute before relying on it for a sale, listing, or insurance claim.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Pro features are available via auto-renewing subscriptions (Monthly or Annual), billed through Apple App Store or Google Play.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or credentials.
Send automated, scripted, or bulk traffic to our servers.
Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
Use the app to misrepresent products in a way that violates marketplace rules (eBay, Mercari, etc.) or consumer-protection law.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app or its API.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and inventory data you create. You grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your photos through third-party AI providers solely to return product identification to you.

6. Third-Party Marketplaces

The app provides links to external marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Poshmark, SellRaze, StockX). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for the content, policies, or transactions on those sites.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that AI identifications or prices are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that data sync will be error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app or any account if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where QR Product Scanner's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest version.
